Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) led trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) in August 2025 with a 50% share price gain, rising from GH¢0.02 to GH¢0.03. The move places CPC at the top of the monthly performance table, even though its overall year-to-date (YTD) return remains 50%.
Beyond CPC, Intravenous Infusions Limited (IIL) advanced 25% to GH¢0.05, while Trust Bank Limited (TBL) and Clydestone Ghana (CLYD) each gained 10%. MTN Ghana (MTNGH), one of the exchange’s most heavily traded equities, climbed 9% to GH¢3.87. NewGold ETF (GLD) added 8.2%, Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) gained 7.9%, and GCB Bank closed the month 5.1% higher at GH¢10.01.
