Who says you have to go out and spend half a paycheck to enjoy a great meal. Guys can do the cooking for their ladies as a special treat this day. This would be ultimately more memorable than the best dinner in the flashiest hotel. Don’t worry if you are a bad cook, you can both have a good laugh over it. This just adds to the fun.
4. Go For a Stroll

When was the last time the two of you walked together on the street hand-in-hand? This is a meaningful activity that costs absolutely nothing. Your partner would feel great that you are not ashamed of showing the whole world that you love them. Plus you’ll enjoy the breeze and be greatful for the exercise.
3. Make Your Own Gifts

You may not be able to afford a diamond necklace, but have you tried making one out of some marbles and string? Have you tried sewing a sweater for your partner, or knitting a muffler? A gift that is not expensive, must be unique. If you put a lot of time and effort to create something special for your partner, chances are, they will appreciate it.
2. Buy Meaningful but Inexpensive Gifts

If there’s anything a man knows, it’s that cards aren’t that expensive. Neither are candy or chocolate. Grab a few chocolates, candy, a card and some artificial flowers for less than 20 cedis. She’ll appreciate them too, especially if you hide the receipt.

OK, so you’re dead BROKE. No need to panic. You can still turn the lights down and sing some Boyz II Men classics for your girl. Or you can look in her eyes and tell her how much she means to you. You can spend your free time with her, and forget your boys on that special day. Money isn’t everything, you know.
