You may not be able to afford a diamond necklace, but have you tried making one out of some marbles and string? Have you tried sewing a sweater for your partner, or knitting a muffler? A gift that is not expensive, must be unique. If you put a lot of time and effort to create something special for your partner, chances are, they will appreciate it.
