Performance of Ghanaian Stocks – September 2018

The GSE continues to show some resilience in the face of challenges confronting the Ghanaian economy. Stocks have returned 16.33% year-to-date with embattled financial stocks still managing to return 13.71% to shareholders.

The big news for September was the addition of MTN Ghana in Ghana’s largest ever IPO. The stock has gone on to attract lots of investor attention and it is up 17% since listing on the 5th of this month.
