Hiring: New Finance Blog Needs Writers

Afrofuturist Economics, a new blog about money making in the 21st century Afrosphere (mostly Africa, Caribbean, Americas), is looking for a freelance writer.

Duties would include writing one original article per week (approx 500-1000 words) about Ghanaian economic and business topics, particularly but not limited to Internet businesses. Writer may be required to cover events on occasion.

Writer must send in an original writing sample (minimum 500 words) with application -any attempt at plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification. All topics related to Ghanaian business/finance/economics are acceptable, but we would like you to especially consider the following: cryptocurrency, stocks, bonds, trade, content creation. As an example, an article about the money in e-gaming in Ghana is something we’d be looking for.

Please keep in mind, this is for a wide audience, so don’t overdo technical language.

This job would be for pay through cryptocurrency -Bitcoin and/or most other coins would be acceptable options. If the writer is unfamiliar with how to accept cryptocurrency, we will instruct them.

College degree in economics, business, English, or journalism is nice to have but not necessary. We are more concerned with your writing skills than your credentials.
