Republic Securities Ghana Limited taps Patrick Edem Agama as CEO

Republic Securities (Ghana) Limited, the brokerage subsidiary of Republic Investments (Ghana) Limited has appointed Patrick Edem Agama as its Chief Executive Officer to lead the firm’s direction in the securities market. Mr. Agama, who took office on July 1 this year, served as the Head of Training and Business Development at Republic Securities Ghana Limited until his appointment. He is a distinguished capital markets and investment banking professional with over a decade experience in Ghana’s financial services industry.

In a statement announcing his appointment, Republic Securities praised Mr. Agama’s dedication to the Republic Bank Ghana Group and for “distinguishing himself through exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to growth”. As head of training and business development, Patrick’s industry drove business development, client acquisition, and market expansion initiatives that proved impactful for the firm.

Patrick Agama holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Ghana and complemented by various industry certifications and continuous professional development. He is licenced by Ghana’s Securities and Exchange Commission as a Broker-Dealer Representative and is a Registered Securities Dealer of the Ghana Stock Exchange.
